In my last two experiment, I had added extra challenge for myfelf by having to play my first rolls forcedly from my 24 and 6 points. I thought about but haven't done the same from my 13 and 8 points because most rolls could be played safely enough. At that point, I thought I was done with such experiments but then I came up with the curiousity of what would happen if I made the worst possible play in my first first or reply move. You may want to pause reading here and try a few games yourselves and perhaps come up with a prediction how even a world-class giant would do against the bots witch such a handicap..?? For several weeks, I played hundreds of games to figure out how to recover from the worst opening forced blunders. Yesterday, I felt ready to run the experiment. This time I decided to video record it also, as I had once before. It took about 4:45 hours (vs 5:55 for the past experiment). It was shorter because of all the 4-5 move games where I had to drop. It should have been even shorter but a lot of time was wasted looking up the worst move at the beginning of each game and for some reason the bot took up to a minute before displying the list of moves. This time I played against XG Roller+ level to keep the video files small and I also couldn't play in Ironman mode since I had to get the worst move from the bot. Other than for that, I played just as I had played in Ironman mode during all my previous experiments. It was very interesting for me to realize that I had never focused on and had no idea what would be the worst opening moves for each roll. :) You may want to test yourself to see if you would know. And now the results. My errors rates were 26.48 checker, 28.26 cube and 26,74 overall (all my highest achievements yet! :). My effective net points lost was 111-134=-23 vs. expected -100.5 (i.e. +77 more points won than I should have according to the bot). I was consistently in the positive during the first 75 games and then consistently and rapidly lost during the last 25 games but I will leave it to your observations and opinions without complaints or comments from me. The most incredible for me, my average luck was 0.0059 (almost the same as the 0.0062 for my previous session)! I won the fewest games with 26 vs losing 74, expectedly as the bot would immediately double after any good rolls following my forced blunders and I would drop single points, hoping to catch bigger fish in between, which I believe I managed to do quite masterfully.
